Following grad school, Jesse established the design and energy departments for the Portland, OR-based construction company, Green Hammer. Despite his fondness for the west coast, Jesse eagerly returned to his hometown of Saranac Lake, NY to form Black Mountain Design Build, LLC in 2011, where he is currently consulting, facilitating, and nurturing building projects throughout the Adirondacks. He provides clients with guidance from conceptual design through the building process, striving for continuity, beauty, and efficiency.  Jesse currently holds LEED AP and Certified Passive House certifications. These credentials complement his 6-year experience as a finish carpenter.
