John is a Building Envelope Specialist concerned with integrity in Building Insulations, Air-Leakage Control, and Moisture Management. He owns and operates Murphy's CELL-TECH, serving the construction industry when excellence in energy efficient performance has no substitute. He built and owns the Franconia Market Place in Franconia, NH - The 1st Super Insulated commercial building in the North Country - Construction completed in 1978. He has been teaching since 1992 about insulations and building performance. He is the author of Don't Forget the Envelope published monthly in Vermont Builder/Architect magazine.
