Yestermorrow is firmly committed to providing educational opportunities to all who seek them, regardless of your financial capabilities. The school offers scholarship options, including work trade and grants, covering up to 50% of course tuition for those who qualify. We encourage all scholarship students to participate in work trade, although we can make exceptions for people who can demonstrate that work trade is not a viable or adequate option for them.
Work trade students are involved in various activities that range from office support to campus maintenance and clean up. Duties can vary from organizing a mailing or cleaning the woodshop, to cutting the grass or building shelves for the studio. We try to find projects that match an individual's skills and experience but we cannot make any guarantees about the kind of work a student might be asked to do. Flexibility, initiative and a sense of humor are required.
Work trade must be performed between 9-5 Monday through Friday, but working times are flexible within those hours. We will provide $10 of scholarship credit for each hour of work trade performed, up to $100 for a weekend workshop, $300 for one-week courses, and $500 for two-week courses.
Please contact us if you have questions, or if you would like to receive an application form.
Internships
Yestermorrow has several internship positions available throughout the year. We strongly encourage intern applicants to visit the school if possible before applying. Please call for more information or visit our Internship page.
