Treehouses offer a magical environment for play, refuge, or even full-time living.  They also offer unique design opportunities and challenges. Through lectures, discussion, and tours of local treehouses, aspiring treehouse owners and builders will learn about relevant issues, such as siting, species selection, structural connection, and material choices.   In the studio portion of the class, students will begin working up designs for their own projects.
