This course is a hands-on introduction to the common cutting and welding techniques. Students will learn weld preparation, welding positions, Shielded Metal Arc Welding/Stick welding, and oxy-acetylene cutting. Using found objects and basic materials, students will create a small piece of art or sculpture. No prior experience with welding is required. Beginner to Intermediate.
