Students in this class will learn the iron shaping process of forging (heat and pressure). We will practice hammer and anvil forging, bending, and joining techniques through brief exercises; also discussing finishes, equipment, and material resources. Anticipate a physical week, a few clumsy moments, and leaving Yestermorrow with new skills applicable to various trades, sculpture, or simple curiosity. Beginner.
