Architectural Craft and Woodworking

Our ARCHITECTURAL CRAFT AND WOODWORKING Courses teach topics in woodworking, cabinets, furniture and decorative arts- "the finishing touches" in a building's design and construction. These courses focus on the skills and techniques for the whole range of architectural craft and woodworking. Students of all backgrounds have the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled artisan-instructors. Courses are designed to offer in-depth instruction in a particular craft, focusing on a wide variety of materials. From creating an end table to cutting a stained glass window, students will not only gain specific hands-on skills but will also participate in and explore the design process. Safe and proper tool use is emphasized as students learn both the theory and practice of craftsmanship. Courses are structured with ample time for students to learn, apply and improve technique. If you are looking to add those "personal touches" to a project, or if you always wanted to try one of these crafts, one of these courses might be just the place to begin or improve your skills.
