Your gift to Yestermorrow today helps build the foundation for a strong tomorrow.
Architect and innovator John Connell started Yestermorrow in 1980 with his own set of tools and a rented barn for a classroom. Students with a passion for place-making came to learn timeless knowledge and hands-on skills for designing and building their own home.
That was 32 years ago. Today, our small school is meeting big needs of our time, exploring regenerative design, introducing alternative building and renewable energy technologies, and teaching skills to people like you—people of all ages who want to build their lives, homes, and communities sustainably and through the work of their own hands.
Today, with a 38-acre campus, a professional staff, studio and shop spaces, and other infrastructure to maintain, tuition covers only 80% of Yestermorrow’s operations. Building a strong foundation for Yestermorrow requires closing that gap year after year.
We can only do it with your help, with the strong hands and willing spirits of our students and friends. This year we need to raise $125,000 by the end of the fiscal year in partnership with friends such as you.
Yestermorrow stewards your donations with great care. More than 82 cents of each dollar goes directly to our mission-driven programs. Reviewers on GuideStar Charity Check’s website gave Yestermorrow five stars—a top rating.
Your gift today builds a strong foundation for Yestermorrow. Through your strong and consistent support we will be here for the “-morrow” part of Yestermorrow—out on the leading edge with programs focused on making sustainable places into everlasting communities. Thank you!
