Build anything after you hone your carpentry skills with Yestermorrow's brand new Custom Residential Carpentry course. This two-week program expands beyond Basic Carpentry and Carpentry Fundamentals to provide hands-on construction experience to aspiring professionals and dedicated DIYers. 

The inaugural project, taught by two architects with more than 60 years of building experience, will be a small cabin (pictured, below [bear cub not included]) in the Vermont woods. In addition to conventional framing, you will learn to build curved walls and variable-pitched roofs on a non-invasive helical pier foundation while learning on-site techniques for laying out challenging designs.
